Please join us for this once-in-a-lifetime event!
Curious what Nic and Nellie's about? Nic and her big, black dog, Nellie, spend the summer with Grandma and Grandpa at their island home. It's Nic's first time away from home. Together with her dog, Nic gets over homesickness and grows up a little as she has island adventures with her new found friends.
Local activist and author, Dusty Miller, will be in Greenfield on Thursday, July 11th, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm with her most recent novel, a mystery entitled Danger in the Air: An Alice Ott Mystery. She will also be talking on the writing process in a discussion, "Writing a Mystery: Delights and Challenges". This is Miller's first mystery novel, but she has also authored a number of books for women, including Women Who Hurt Themselves: A Book of Hope and Understanding and Stop Running from Love.
Her newest novel centers on the main character, Alice Ott, "a retired school teacher turned cyber sleuth", who seeks to expose a deadly national conspiracy with her friends and long-lost lover, Gerard. They expose the darkest secrets of biological weapons while still making time for love.
On Wednesday, July 10th, from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., Jeff Mack will be at our Greenfield store signing books, including his two latest, "Clueless McGee and the Inflatable Pants" and "The Things I Can Do".
