Please join us in celebrating Greenfield's 200th anniversary as county seat! The annual Summer Fest and Sidewalk Sales are teaming up with the celebration of Greenfield's 200th anniversary as county seat. The big event will be held the weekend of July 22 through 24, with sidewalk sales on Saturday, July 23. A portion of Main Street will be closed that day to vehicular traffic, and there wll be activities, bicycle jaunts, dinosaur footprints, food, historic tours, music, trolley rides, and much more!
As part of the event, World Eye Bookshop has made a special arrangement with the publisher of the previously out of print book "Images of America: Greenfield", and we now have copies available! This book is regularly $21.99 (+ tax), but for this special 3 day celebration it will be on sale for 10% off! There are limited copies available, and once they're gone we can't get more, so please call 413-772-2186 to reserve your copy now!
We will also have two more special books available for the celebration:
1) Autographed copies of Professor Richard D. Little's book "Dinosaurs, Dunes, and Drifting Continents: the Geology of the Connecticut River Valley" (3rd Ed.) This book usually sells for $25 (+ tax), but for the celebration it will be available for only $15 (+ tax)!
